Yeah my wife has done similar feats like that on more than one occasion, with the same results too!
I had to laugh though when you said that you should make her buy you another one at HERexpense.
Somehow I just know that you'd pay for that one too, one way or another!
You're lucky that you do have a steady hand and a knack for bodywork...
Heck, you are lucky. My wife drove the expy INTO the garage door while it was closed. Her friggin sister had her truck in the driveway, and instead of simply asking her to get off her rear and move the sucker to the street, my wife wanted to get the expy close to the garage door.
She parked the sucker.
I walked around the house to see the garage door caved in at least a foot! She kept inching it up, and not noticing the door was caving in, she thought she was o.k.
Man was I ticked off.
Believe it or not, not a scratch on the expy, and as the door was aluminim, pushed it out, and with about 3 hours work should get it to be o.k.
Told her she was lucky she did not hit my 67 Cutlass that was inside the garage. She was about 6 inches from pushing the door into it.
