i don't understand how he died. was it the venom or getting it in the chest like that? said it was a 220 lb. bull stingray. seems that could pack quite a punch.

i don't want to say anything bad about the guy. holding an animal in front of the camera isn't any worse than eating it. but he did make his living handling dangerous animals, and going to the extreme a bit handling really poisonous snakes and all that. and now his kids don't have a dad. this has gotta be really hard for his wife and kids such a young family

From what I understand, he got speared in the chest and into his heart.

He pulled out the spear, then died.

Apparently it punctured the aortic valve, or something like that.
