Roof panel needed

Hi can any one help me locate a replacement roof for a 56 F100 i live in New Zealand so i have only been able to google etc but no companies seem to do this panel,would consider 2nd hand also. Thanks Kiwi.

Is the whole roof bad or is it just rusted through around the drip rails? I've not seen a roof panel anywhere and I suspect patching is the only way.

I'd expect it would be less expensive to repair any rust damage than ship a whole roof as was said, but there is a complete cab, doors and hood on ebay right now for 250.00. Shouldn't be whole lot more to ship the whole thing. Used to be you could fly over here, locate a roof (pretty easy to find a good one in CA) wrap cardboard around it, strap a handle on it and check it as luggage for the return flight. Don't know if they'd let you do that anymore tho.

Thanks for your input guys,my roof has almost rusted out all round except across the seam above the rear window! F100 parts are thin on the ground over here but still they do surface from time to time.Interesting that sea freight ex CA is approx US$180,NZ$300 for a pallet size load i beleive.the tricky bit is knowing what your bidding on is ok and the freight to the shipping agent etc (New Zealand is a great place to live but isolated shipping wise!!)
I will keep working on the rest of my cab It's got lots of rust to keep me busy!! and keep on the lookout for a roof or bite the bullet and try fixing what i have.

I have a 56 roof on it's way to me via motor freight. I bought it when I had a line on a 56 BW but that deal fell through so now I have an extra roof. I don't have it in hand yet but it is the complete roof section with about 4 inches of the A and B pillars attached. Send me a PM with your contact info and I can send you some pics when it arrives.
