Tranny swap possible?????
Tranny in 5.0 shot ..do'nt know any #'s Have an extra but not sure if it will work in my 92 F-150 electronic OD. Numbers are as follows on the spare RF-E3SP7006.Any help would be greatly appreciated......Thanks

If you computer is expecting an electronic trans, then it would be easiest to stay with an auto trans. Contact Factorytech if you need a rebuilt trans, they have some cool stuff.

Thanks for the link and reply.I have found out that replacements are from 4.9-5.8..... 92-94 truck or vans. the tranny I was thinking about is actually an AOD and same as you said the easier swap would be with a like tranny....Thanks
