My first accident was at my school about a month after i got my liceance. I was in my old 97 f-150 with a few friends and at the time i was amazed with how good the truck could spin the tires and whip sideways. So I pull forward and whip the truck sideways 90degrees and then i had too much speed went to stop before i hit this girls cavieler i knew. Did not stop fast enough and bam rear-ended her. No damage to my truck, but pushed in her trunk lid on her car. Cop gave me a ticket for failure to yeild, i thought i was getting reckless.
The second accident i got into was about 1/4mile away from the school at an intersection, i was going to turn left, seen a cop and did not want to behind the cop because my front corner light was busted out because of an ice storm. So i decided to turn left and side swipped a hyundai. His damage was a front bumper, mine was the whole side was scratched and dented. 3 years later i have not gotten into one accident of even gotten a ticket. Ill tell ya though its hard to get insurance when you got 7 points on ur liceance and your 17.

My first wreck happned in the spring a couple years ago in my pickup. I was going around a corner on the highway to fast with the road wet. My *** end slid out and i overcorrected it and rolled it on its passenger side in the ditch on the opposite side of the road after i did a 180 on the road. The two buddies that were with my and myself climbed out of the drivers window, pushed the pickup back on its wheels, clicked the hubs in, threw er in 4wd and backed up on the road to change the left front tire because it had came off the bead. The only damage was a dent by the drivers door handle about 3 inches big and i broke the mirror mount. Pretty fun little trip. I also had a 71 4x4 F-100 that a guy from school took it off a 60 foot cliff at 65 rolling it end over end. I'll have to get pictures of that one for you guys.

I've had my DL for going on 4 years now. No accidents. Dont know if I'm just lucky or a good driver...fairly certain its the latter because my luck sucks. Oh... and never had a ticket...because I've never been pulled over. not saying I shouldn't have though!

Heres a funny one though, this kid I played football with, was pulling into a gas station/convenient store and "said" he hit the clutch instead of the brake! You use two different feet! Anyways he plows into the side of the store. When he showed up for practice (amazingly) the windshield was shattered, the airbag went off, and we gave him so much hell!!!

Ok it wasnt my first wreck but by far the worst. Just flipped my sisters 01 Saturn SC2 about a month ago. 4 AM and foggy on a dirt road that I was unfamiliar with, had had two or three beers but not enough to intoxicate me so it wasn't that I was drunk like most would think. Road made a sharp right that I didnt see, went straight instead of right hit a 8 inch steel pipe holding a gate up flipped four times and was then hit by my friend who ramped the hood. He didnt see the turn either, so it goes to show you hos bad the road markings were. Thank the Lord for seatbelts, and airbags. The sidecurtain airbags didnt deploy so that kind of ticked me off but surprisingly the only damage to the car was a broken back windshield and the damage to the front where I hit the gate. Roof didnt cave in, windshield stayed intact and windows didnt bust. Crumple zones did exactly what they were supposed to do, crumple, and the wheel and A arm including driveshaft flew 50 feet behind where the car stopped. When the salesman said it was one of the safest cars around at the time, he was most definately right. Insurance company said in any other car I would have been killed!

I highly doubt that any other car you would have been game over. Your friend probably just followed you into the ditch thinking you knew where you going....and yes had you not had those beer you wouldve had a better chance at seeing the road. If you couldnt see the road you were driving too fast....plain and simple. Chit happens, learn from it.

Skipped last class one day to go do some fishing, had to head into town off of the highway to get some hooks. ********* decides to slam on his breaks in a honda civic infront of my 93' F-250HD. I Came onto my breaks and the lines let go (rusty), I swerved to avoid but took about 6 inches off of his rear passenger side and a lil dent in the undernath of my bumper on drivers side. Just got my new insurance quote and its around $2500. Last year it was $1000 before this happened. I am pissed off to say the least.

My first wreck was a good one, second day of a new job it had just snowed almost two feet. We were under a "level 2" but I needed to report to work. So I jump in my mom's conversion van (mine was stuck behind the 4 foot high 20 foot long snow drift in the driveway) and head out.. Well wouldn't you know it, the one farmer was out with his 4695 with a plow.... He's plowing out his parent's driveway and not paying attention at all to where he is in relationship to the road. I'm running all of 35mph, he pulls out in front of me. I hit the brakes (not thinking about it) and of course on ice I almost immediately double my speed (due the slide) all I could do was center the axle so it went through the radiator instead of my leg. That was fun morning. I still have some residual problems from that one.. Stupid me didn't even go to the hospital. I was out and walking around makin' phone calls.

lol, you remind me of myself...

This didn't happen in any car, it was before I bought my truck... I used to walk absolutely everywhere (and yet still managed to weigh an impressive 250lbs, lol) and this one day, I was crossing a busy intersection, and some guy pulled into the turning lane... I saw him stop, for a second... Apparently he didn't see me, and I don't know how; I'm 6'1, lol... He ran me right over like roadkill!!!

Some guy, driving an Acura (and I'm thankfull it wasn't some big truck or any car with a hood ornament) hit me dead on... I flipped over his hood about 2 times according to the witnesses (the whole time I remember thinking "**** this is bad"), and landed breaking his windshield with my forehead (call me hard headed...) He slammed on the brakes, and I slammed onto the asphalt, my iPod was still playing, and my shoes were about 20 feet away....

Just like the last poster, I got right back up... And just as I was wondering whether or not I was supposed to get his insurance (lol, what would you do?) all these diffrent people got out of their cars and told me to lay back down, naturally I yelled "I'm fine", then about 6 people yelled at me and said "no your not", so I figured what the hell, and layed back on the asphalt, blocked traffic for a good hour and a half, lol...

Long story short, the ambulance came, I was fine... And I became somewhat of a celebrity, had people calling me every 20 minnutes to make sure I wasn't dead... Got some great voice mails from the people who did think I was dead though... lol

Thats my story for now, hopefully I woln't be involved in any more auto or pedestrain accidents for a while....

It wan't really a wreck but it could have been worse. I had my license for about three weeks, i was going to work for the first time in my 79' F150 that i got going. It was raining out and as The light turned yellow I hit the brakes, the newly adjusted rears locked up and i began fishtailing every time i was on the brakes. After the second fishtail i locked all four up so i wouldnt hit the car in the middle of the intersection. I then slid across three lanes and ended up with my truck faceing oncoming traffic, and my tailgate was right on the crosswalk lane. Luckly no other car was around me. i put it in reverse and put it in the correct driving postition. Funny thing is, that it happened infront of a Wal-Mart, so a bunch of people saw. Scared the crap out of me for the first time driving my first vehicle.

I had my first "wreck" today I guess. Me a two buddies were having some fun on a dry, dirt road. Took a turn too fast and ended up in the middle of the road on the drivers side. Thankfully it didnt roll. Someone that lived on that road came over because he said he heard the "wreck" and said it sounded much worse than it was. I got someone with a tractor to turn me back over. Started er up and drove away.

Main damagae is a dent into the cab, between the door and the bed, and a dent in the bed. I replaced the driver's mirror and tail light and called it a day.

I think my passenger rear tire went off the road a bit and into the runoff ditch-thing. My back end came around and I almost made a complete 180 but my front tire grabbed and over she went.

Damn I love my Ford.
