No pics... I was delivering some auto parts for our regular driver who was out sick and a kid in a mitsubishi galant pulled out in front of me. He wasn't wearing his seatbelt and hit his head on the B pillar and died later at the hospital from a brain contusion, he never woke up. I was only going 25 mph. That was 2 years ago and I still don't drive down that road above 20 mph. Its pretty traumatizing.

1 year ago a drunk driver came down the off ramp on the interstate and hit the car directly in front of me. Needless to say, I don't drink and drive or speed anywear. I've never been in a collision that was my fault.

haven't had any accidents/wrecks yet *knocks on wood* but I have a interesting story about one of my mom's friends.

short story, he couldn't drive worth a damn. he was driving somewhere one day, and managed to run the car right into other, damaging both. nothing spectular right?

what if I told you that the car he rammed into was the family's insurance agent? faster then he could get home the whole family's insurance coverage was canceled!

6 months after getting my license I was coming home from a camping trip in the family caravan. Driving on the road that leads to our suburb I reached down to turn off the heat and hear tires squealing. Glanced up in time to see the back end of an Isuzu TROOPER coming at me at 35 mph. After the dust cleared I see a hugely crumpled hood and a spare tire sitting in the middle of the crumple. I captitalized the word trooper because a cop the size of a linebacker got out of the trooper. Let me tell you how I felt... no better not. The point is that when you have an accident the VERY LAST PERSON you want to see is an extremely muscled cop coming towards you from the damaged vehicle. Then he said the nicest words I have ever heard. "It's ok, that wasn't your fault. Besides, this is my wife's mother-in-laws car..." and he started laughing. Whew...

Apparently an older lady had slammed on her brakes to enter the veterans cemetary and the 4 cars behind her (including me) piled into her. Everyone was doing the speed limit but I guess we were all driving too close to each other. That van lasted us another 150,000 miles after the cosmetic damage was fixed by yours truly. I loved that thing. 87 dodge caravan with a 4 cyl. 287,000 miles total. If it hadn't been for the brakes, tranny, steering, and side door going bad all at once we would still have it.

I rolled a 75 highboy. I hit the ditch hard due to a front drum break a little too tight and it sent me into a spin I couldn't recover from. I rolled twice over and landed on the wheels. It was a really wrecked truck! I even cracked the tranny! I walked away with a small scratch and a small bump. I wasn't wearing the lap belt, but I wreck the steering wheel with my death grip. This was a week or so after I sank the Bronco II in what looked like a puddle. I should have been driving the Escort, but I blew the trans the day before. It always goes in 3s with me. LOL

Bent the frame of the truck, destroyed part of the roof and both passenger doors were deemed structurally useless, and if we'd have hit a few inches forward I'd probably have no right side limbs. I don't recommend sliding lightpoles to anyone.
thats cool, a great way to impress the girls..lol

I just had my first accident that wasn't my fault. I was sitting in my truck at work listening to the radio because I got there early. While I was sitting there I felt my truck move. Someone cutting through the parking spaces brushed the left rear of the bed. Didn't do that much damage, jsut scuffed it up a little and took a little paint off the fender flare. The guy that hit me said he'll pay for the damage. But in honesty I don't think he will. It really pissed me off that he hit my truck. I am sure hoping it doesn't have to be repainted but if it does oh well, I'll have a dent on the same side removed.

Well not in a car/truck.. But about a month ago I was snowmobiling through a field at 8:00 on a Sunday night when all of a sudden, there is a barb wired fence right there. Luckily I ended up with only a huge bruise on my shoulder, a bruise on my chest (almost ripped my right nipple off), a huge cut running from my bottom lip to the bottom of my chin, and a cut going across my right cheek. The snowmobile only had a broken windshield, and a few scratches.

Ha. if yall wanna hear stupid, i had my license for about 3 or 4 months. me and my friend were speeding along dirt roads in the country right after it rained in my '99 maroon f150. i didnt pay attention and hit a mud puddle, started swerving and panicked and stepped on the gas, hit a bank and flipped the truck 4 times. we were both okay though but the insurance is killing me right now

I have been in 2 wrecks, and out of my own bordem, I am going to tell yall about both of them. And I guess I will tell you about my brothers first one too.
The first was after I had my licsence for about 6 months, I got rear ended in my 90' F-250. We both stopped at a stop light, and my truck is a good ole Ford truck, takes a minute to start up. She hit me in a full size dodge van had some of those "boots" that are supposed to protect your car if you hit someone, and it hit my bumper pushing it down, and then rode up into my tailgate, denting it. We pulled into a parking lot, and looked at the damage, and her van folded over the front quarter pannel. So much for the boots. My truck had a bent bumper, and a dented in tailgate. I got almost a grand for the damages from her insurance company, and bought a $50 bumper off of a mid 80's half ton.
My second accident was just last year. Real stupid on my part. I was in a hurry to get out of there, and backed my 05 Wrangler into a chervy 1500. I felt real bad becuase when the guy came up he had this horrible black eye. He got into a fight the night before. The best part is that he was cool about it. Said **it happens.
My little brother just got into his first accident about a month ago. He has only been driving for about 2 months. He drives my old ranger, also a 90. He hit some black ice on the way to school one morning and put it onto its drivers side, bent the cab all to hell, and busted out the passenger side window. The doors dont work anymore.

Unhappy

I had had my liscens about a year, driving home at night after a practice for some school thing. a farmer had cattle grazing in a corn field and one jumped over the electric wire. I ran into a 550 Lb bull calf with my '96 T-Bird LX with the 4.6L V8. Needless to say the bird's totaled. i drive a '78 F-150 now. I love my truck more, but i still miss the bird.

well, i dont have my lisence yet, but i have my permit. and this isnt a wreck, its just a close call from someone else's stupidity.

my mom picked me up from school one day, and some lady in a toyota prius turned the wrong way on a street. so, in the middle of the street, on a green light, she decides to throw it into reverse and i had to swerve around her.

heres another one.

i was driving home from the store, and some lady in guess what? another prius! was parked in a no parking spot in front of the library. she started to back up, and i dont know how the hell she didnt see a big red 68 f-250 coming around the cornner. but it scared the you know what outta her, and when i went by, her window was open so i did the courtious thing and filled her car with 360 exaust.

i figure that when i did that, i wiped out all the good that a prius does running for 15 minuites.
