dash rattle

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right forum for this but has anybody had a rattle in the drivers side upper dash. I had a 97 crew cab long bed psd and I currently have a 96 crew cab short bed psd. Both of these trucks have this rattle. It sounds like it is somewhere up by the VIN plate under the dash. Any suggestions. Thanks

i had a rattle on the pass. side dash.........i fixed mine by tightening the two fender bolts.......open the door, look down inside the fender...........tighten those two bolts...........maybe it will work for you too.......

I've got it in my 95 supercab. Sounds like it is between the steering wheel and the a pillar.

I think the black bezel around the speedo etc pod is just a snap in and is gettin' loose.
