I have come across some '66s in my favorite junkyards that had a small bracket mounted on the inner fender well that seemed to be for holding the jackhandle and maybe the small hydraulic jack. My father bought one new in '66, but he had a large bumper/screw jack from some other car he carried around. Ford offered several hydraulic jacks as options, I guess the customer bought the one that would lift that particular truck and most did just toss it under the seat!
