Roller Timing Chain

Does anyone know if the 1997 5 liters in the Explorers came with a single or double roller chain? Mines got 170,000 on it and I'm gonna change it if its a silent type chain.

To the best of my knowledge all standard ford motors ( yes I know there are excetions) came with Nylon coated gears and a single roller setup.
Youre always better off strength wise repalcing with a double roller setup IMHO

The Explorer uses a 5.0 HO with a Gt40 package. Not trying to split hairs here.

Thanks for the replies. I thought I heard the hyd roller 5.0s had a metal gear and roller chain. It does have GT 40 or Gt 40P heads so I guess you would consider it an HO 5.0.
