Thanks to everyone who made it up for some or all of the weekend. I do like to cook. The wind made it a bit more work though. The road kill chili turned out well. But the wind was blowing so hard I could only use the shielded two burned stove I had. So one burner for one pot of chili and another for hot water for coco and coffee. Guess I need another cook stove. I had a great time camping even if we were a little cool friday night. Saturday night was a little warmer and we had it figured out then also. By sunday I was used up. Did a little bit of wheeling and even had a much needed nap. I didn't get any pictures this time. Just too busy with other stuff and then too tired to actually get the camera out. Thanks Rollie for posting the pic's.
Gave Green a test and it did pretty well gear wise. The short little 235 tires that make it easy to get in and out of didn't give me the clearence to do a lot. Tried a little mud hole I had been through before. First section was just like I remembered it to be and all went fine. The end was chewed out a bunch (under water that I could not see) and I high centered when I crossed a set of ruts. Clint brought Jr. and the winch to the rescue.
Sorry that others had bad luck. Dan hit a deer before he even made it there. Doc broke a weld on a front driveshaft. Joe poked a hole in his battery. Jr. had a bit of electrical problems friday evening and he had it worked out with the help of Rollie on Saturday. POJ had trouble but was able to wheel a bit at least. Tony had a good time with his stubbler (second t-case and second low range) but broke a rear axle shaft.
