Coolness. If folks want to come by friday night and cook some cobbler or pizza or something I'll have the dutch ovens. Just bring a Jiffy White cake mix, a can of your favorite pie filling, and a stick of margarine, for cobbler. For pizza, a can of Pizza dough (from the canned biscuit section, makes two pizza's), a jar or can of pizza sauce, toppings, one 8 oz. package of shredded mozzarella per pizza.
Well i may just show up this month for the gtg. Seems work has slowed down and may get a break from it to enjoy myself a little. As long as it aint snowing i will try my best to be there!! Will let ya know the closer it gets!!
Hey guys I am going to try and make the tuttle run and be there late sat night but will not be camping. I will be bringing my 17 month old for some father daughter time and will prob get a hotel as for the wearther will be too cold for her to sleep outside. We are having a KC GTG that sat and then I will head over. Now I went to K-state for a while but are you guys gonna be at the campgrounds by where the water comes shootin' out of the dam? Looking forward to the ORV park didn't get a chance to go there when I was at school!
There are two Off Road areas at Tuttle. One is down south by the dam and is open only to small vehicles (motorcycles & ATV's). And the one we go to up north outside Randolph, KS. Maps are on my web site at: http://www.mappyjack.com/Tmaps.htm
I'll be in Fancy Creek campground. I don't sleep outside. I sleep in my truck or in a tent.
Just over two weeks to go. I need to do a bit of prep for this and would like to know who is going to be there and when and for what activity's. Everyone is welcome for part or all of the weekend.
Ok here's the deal. I'm leaving a week from tomorrow. So that means that a week from today I have to have everything ready to pack up and head out. I really need folks to post up good info for this. Tell me what you are thinking about doing. I know Rollie is thinking about wheelin on Saturday and not shootin. Said he would be there all three days. I need numbers folks. Hard to cook enough chili if I don't know how many will be there. Isn't like I can just pull a can off a shelf and have more ready in 10 minutes. This stuff takes about 3 hours to cook.
Breakfast is the same deal. A batch of biscuts and package of beacon is too much for just Clint and I. The dutch oven uses the same amount of charcoal for one biscut as it does for a whole pan full. Same for sausage gravy. I just need numbers. I have Clint, Tony, and I down for breakfast. But Del, Ian, and others have posted about camping. If for some reason you can't eat what I'm cooking just say so. I understand. I really do but if you don't tell me I won't know.
Come on folks. It's just a week away. Time to make some noise. I need to know if you are going to eat chili or if you want pizza saturday night. I need to know how many will be in your group. I need to know if you are going to camp or stay in Randolph and if you will eat breakfast with us.
Camping: 8- Tony (motel camping), Clint, Ian, Lance, Curtis, Maddie?, Joe, and I.
If I have this wrong let me know. Joe if you can get up there your welcome. Does Joe or Lance need any camping gear?
Curtis there is electric up there. And it has always been on when we were there.
For Saturday shootin/wheelin: Rollie, Lisa, Joe, Aaron, Becky, Chris & Wife, Del, Keith and his dad, Clint and I, Tony, Ian, Lance, Curtis, Maddie?, Chad & Nephew.
Looks like we'll loose Chris and his wife Saturday night and pick up Doc & his daughter.
Dan?? Jeff??
