rear end ratio
I read a thread about two years ago on how to figure out what the gear ratio is on these trucks if the tag is missing. I even wrote it down . it's in a safe place LOL. if any of you guru's know how to do it without taking it apart I would apreciate it. i have no idea how fast it goes as the speedometer disappears out of sight. montana freeways are fun if you like to drive fast occasionally. thanks.

Flyn, My preferred method is to roll the truck one tire revelorion on a level serface and count the revolutions of the driveshaft. That method is how the truck uses it and it applies.
