I have just recently bought a 2000 Ford motorhome with the V10. The fuel filter is gummed up (been parked for a while) and want to change it. I found it on the frame rail but dont know how to unplug the lines on the filter. Can anyone tell me how they release?? Do I need a tool or is there some simple trick to it??? Would appreciate any info you can share. Thanks. L.R. Bates

Not too familiar with the newer stuff, but if it's anything like previous years, you need a tool to release the spring clips on the line. You'll find this tool at any parts store, usually called a Ford fuel, transmission, and a/c line tool.
