Last year I had the clutch assm replaced and the mechanic told me he had to do some creative riveting to get the clutch fork lever to stay on.
Well now the lever has come off, and the trans shop say's that they don't rivet this part back on because they allways come off. And I should not use a scrapyard replacement since they have the same problem.
So any Idea's or input would be greatly appreciated. Can I buy a new bellhousing? Where?
I had the same problem with my 66 4wd F-100. My son switched it with one I had taken out of a parts truck. He just sliped the trans back far enough to change it out.
