Microsoft Word to JPEG conversion

I have a microsoft word document that I would like to convert to JPEG, then attach to an email.

I have tried opening the microsoft document with paint shop pro, adobe, and just about every other program on my computer with no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated (am working under a deadline)!

Have you tried to print it out and scan it as a hi-res jpg?

Unfortunately I don't have access to a scanner at this time, but thanks for the response!

Any other ideas?

hit print screen, then open paint and hit paste, or save as a pdf with another program.

There is also a program called snag-it that can capture any area of your screen and save it as a .bmp .jpg or whatever. I'm not sure if you can find a trial version of it or not.

Pardon me for asking the obvious, but why don't you just attach the Word document to the e-mail?

jake is right. hit the "Print Screen" button, just north of the delete button. Open paint, press and hold ctrl and hit the "V" key. Save it as a jpeg, and you're in business.

I am having a cd pressed at the diskfaktory along with artwork and printed data, and they specify that the documents/pics be in jpeg, which is why I just can't attach a microsoft word file to an email.

I am surprised that they don't have (or maybe don't want to set the precedent of fixing peoples stuff) the software and or/scanner to do this considering they process artwork for a living.....

I will check out the print screen method.

Do I need to hit "shift" or "control" as I hit "print screen"?

Thanks again!

Thanks to jake and fightnirish and everyone else who replied. I just got an email from the diskfaktory and they accepted my jpeg file and put my order in production.

The print scrn idea worked well, just had to resize and save at 1480x1480 pixels then attach to an email and send.

Tuning in late. Sorry.

Another way you could have done this is to (if you have it) print to Adobe Acrobat.
Once the file has been turned into a .pdf file, click Save As, then select .jpg.

One advantage to doing the file in this manner is, you can choose your resolution. . . up to 4000 dpi, when distilling to .pdf.

I make posters at least 5 times a week this way, only I save the file as an .eps file and import into another program. (.eps keeps the same attributes even when enlarged up to 'wall size'.)

The downside to .jpg is when you increase size of pic, the resolution goes down and resolution goes up when pic size goes down.
