Chrome clad wheels???
I went to order an 07 Explorer today... was ready to order the chrome clad wheels when I saw an 06 on the lot with the same wheels... and went to look. It is not chrome clad aluminum as the brochure says... it is chrome clad plastic over what appears to be a steel wheel...
Anyone have an 06 limited or EB with the chrome clad wheels? Did this change from 06 and it is not real clad al or is it still a chrome plastic cover for an extra $383?

Ford chrometec wheels are simply chrome plated plastic on the Expedition and Explorers. I didn't see any changes between 06 and 07. I know the oddball interior door panels are due for a redesign soon to get better handle placement, not sure on the wheels or anything like that though.
