So in case no one has noticed, the "chrome clad" wheels that are standard on the Chrome Package for 2012 are actually plastic chrome clad wheels. If I remember correctly, the 07-10 Expedition had wheels that were "plastic chrome clad" as well; I thought Ford moved away from that with the new 20s on the Expedition for 2011 and 2012 but I guess not.
Just a little FYI for everyone. Luckily the nicer 20s are still available on the Super Duty.
You can't make a SD wheel out of plastic and have it last more than a few miles. Has to be covers. I'm paying that much money for a truck the wheels better be forged aluminum with no stupid covers.

I went to the local dealership yesterday after hours and gave the wheels a nice little knuckle tap/ flick with the finger; the chrome packaged wheels had the high pitched plastic slap and the normal 20s had that solid forged thud sound.
