Anyone got any tips for a True dual system? Im gonna do it myself but im having trouble figuring out the front gas tank situation. Any tips on how to get around it? Also what size pipe should i use, 3??
Usually, what I have seen is they bring the driver's pipe across to the passenger side, then run it along side the passenger pipe, if you want it out the same side for cosmetic reasons, then you can do that right behind the axle.
I thought the same thing, but on closer inspection I think it does.
That is the left manifold pipe with the oil pan in the backround.
My concern would be smashing the pipe where it goes under the frame or tearing it off in the mud.
But then not everyone goes places like I do.
With the 450 2wd front springs and rear shackle flip (with stock parts) I have never hit or hung pipe in the last 300K. Also no problem with drive shaft.
