Dual alt Project?
About to attempt to put dual alternators using Ford setup on my 05. Any tips to making this easy??

I'm not sure if you'll need to program the PCM to control both.

There is a SVE bulletin on going from DUAL to SINGLE.

It's going to be for accessories control will be remote. I'm concerned with mechanical installation

Installation is the easy part. Getting the alternators to efficiently work together without using the PCM is the hard part. Unless the 2nd alt were to run an isolator.

Why not just put in a BIG one? Like a 250-300 amp.

Oreillys rent a fan clutch wrench set. looks like a flat wrench that u hook a drive too. anyone used this set on 6.0

yup i have it, it kind of works, i use an air hamer set up
