hello fellow ford fans. i am in a pickle and need help. i have a 1964 f-100 292 3 speed manual on the collom. thats where my problem starts i am having a hard time finding the shift callor and the shift tubes that go down in the collom and sugestions would be a great help cause i have no second grear or reverse. the whole shift collom is deterated beyond salvaging.
Hey - Are you familiar with Dennis Carpenter parts or Mac's? I didn't see these parts available here at Motorhaven, so I gotta mention the 'other guys' I guess.
As you probably know, the 64 is hard to find parts for as it was pretty much a one year run for a lot of parts - but the shifter column should fit for other years. Here
My (old) mac's catalog shows a 'steering column shift collar' for 64/72 3 on the tree as part number D5TZ-7228-B for $41.95 ; other places might have it. Not sure about the tubes, try a salvage yard, but both these companies have high quality NOS or reproduction, hard-to-find parts too.
