hehehe. well i don't have to worry about the **** being on my hard drive any more.
in case some of you have not noticed, i have not been here since Thursday night.
we had a bad electrical storm, and the antenna tower next to the shop was hit by lightning.
it came into the building through the old coaxial cable, found the power circuits, and smoked the desktop in the office, my laptop that i usually take home, and a whole lot of other good stuff, including the computers in the 3 trucks that were in the garage.
first thing i did on Friday morning after finding all the damage, was fire up the cutting torches and the rattletrap, and cut that dang tower down. then i had to call the insurance company and mack to get 3 new computers to get the trucks back on the road.
and today, i went to best buys and bought 2 e-machine desktops, one for the office, and one for the house so i don't need magnifying glasses to use the laptop anymore. i just got done setting the house machine up a few hours ago.
Lots of people with their fancy advice about getting rid of this, installing that checking on the thingamabober and as it turns out all you needed was one naturally generated well placed lightning strike.
Even better if your insurance covers it...Good Luck
P.S. I really did think everybody had some good advice.
