Hi, My 1963 ford unibody has a paint color code of "K". I cannot find the color or the color numbers for "K". Also, the existing seat in the truck has been recovered and I would like to put it back original. Does anyone have any pictures or designs for the original seat and vinyl material used? Any help would be great.

My Ford parts book (original dealer books) shows a K code to be Bengal Tan, for late 63 and 64. Is this a match for any remnant you may see on your truck?
Keep in mind that BOTH Dwarf and I may be right! At least, by the book, that is. With mid-production line changes, the books were often late to be updated, if at all.
All indications are that the truck was originally white. The interior was white, the firewall has been sprayed with black undercoating, but the original paint underneath the undercoating is white. About 4 years ago we painted this truck rangoon red. I really like the red, but am considering putting the truck back to original; unless original is gray...

Darrick: May I suggest you post the entire VIN and Warranty Plate info? Perhaps your paint code is not K, but the K is merely above the paint code? It is entirely possible the numbers are in the correct sequence, but stamped offset. If you post them all, we can give you the correct information.
And, don't forget, the warranty plate may not be original to the truck.
