King Pin Question

I am replacing all the suspension parts on my '65 F100 while I have the engine out. I was going to order a new king pin set and I don't know if I should get metal or nylon bushings. This is going to be my daily driver and may occasionally pull my boat short distances (I don't know if this info is relevant or not!) Thanks again for all the help.

King Pin Question

I believe eitheer will provide you with the same satisfaction if properly maintained. However, the metal bushings must be reamed and the reamers are rare unless you can find a shop that has a set.
Removing kingpins may or may not be an easy task. I spent 2 or 3 hours on the drivers side pin but the passengers side was removed in 15 minutes.
