87 f150 im thinking about
saw a 87 f150 for sale today. 1595 bucks. no safety, 302 auto. that's all i know. are there many problems/bugs i should know about? gas milage of the 302? im assuming it's efid right?
any info you guys can pass on to me before i make a choice is great. i will prolly go see the truck tomorror

by 87 the 302's were EFI'd for a couple years so the problems should be mostly worked out. I have a 86 302 and I drive it fairly hard but not extremely hard and it has over 300,000km on it and i am lucky if I get 11mpg in town but the highway gets much more. Sounds like a pretty good deal. i own a 1986 ford f-150 with a 302 aod, trust me the gas mileage isn't great, but i love my ford, it's a great truck when you need to haul stuff. it was my first vehicle. so good luck to you, and i hope you do buy it!
