What weigh oil for high milgage engine in summer??

Which engine? What year? What mileage?

These things would make it easier to give you an opinion.

Also knowing if you burn oil or not would help.

Oil burning requires a heavier oil as a bandaid. There are drawbacks to heavy oil, but as a temporary measure it will work.

If your engine doesn't burn or leak oil I would use what the manual says to use. That is where knowing year and model etc helps.

You may be just fine with 10w30, unless you have low oil pressure.
