I think I need to replace the EBP sensor and a friend that works in a parts store checked his cost from Ford at about $100.00. Ford wants $130.00. This seems high for the type of sensor, even for a Stealership. I'm wondering if the right part is being priced. Can anyone verify the cost and is there a place on the net I may find one. I have searched and come up with nothing....... Thanks..
Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor: (97 & up) Ford # 4C3Z9J460A list for $136.71.
Direct Ford Parts (site sponsor) has it for $72.15. Powerstrokeshop.com (site sponsor) has it for $75.98. You could also try ebay.
Thanks guy. I looked at DFP and couldn't find anything. I used the number on the sensor, maybe it's not a part number. I'll try again with your number.
