Hi all my dad has a 99 f-350 and he had it serviced today and they told him one of the bolts had came out of his turbo and ford had an updated bolt kit for 79 bucks and it would be 4 hours labor to put it in well I am sure I can put the bolts in for him but was just wondering if any of you knew what boltsthese were or if there was any special procedures I needto follow thanks in advance
i would recomend you replace the bolts before driving to far, but its your turbo, and if you pull the turbo off, make sure to get the new bolt and seal kit to put it back on dont re-use the old bolts and o-rings, turbos are expensive.

I agree. If by some off chance the housing shifts with missing hardware the turbine wheel could make contact and the whole turbo is destroyed. Better to replace the bolts ASAP.
They actually go for a hell of a long way missing two bolts. Mine were missing for at least 30,000 miles and that was over 100,000 miles ago on the same turbo.
