The whole heater control switch section works with the key off.You can shut it off in the off position but if you turn it on it works even with no key.Nothing else works.Anyone heard of this.I will look at the diagram tomorrow.

Has it always done this? If it just started and you have owned the vehicle for quite awhile I would have to suspect that you have some wires melting together in there. You are somehow getting a constant hot to where you should not have one.

i had the same think happen to me right after i had my windshield replaced, and the day after a rainstorm. My windshield had a leak and after it dried out all was ok with mine. i had the leaky windshield fixed and haven't had a problem since.
did you have a rainstorm, or did you wash it lately

just a thought

Gotta be a load reduction relay stuck on, contacts welded together or something.

That's kinda like wires melted together, and far more likely. It would be tough to have wires fuse together without a ground getting involved and that would blow fuses.

I think its the blower relay.I looked at the diagram, and thats what it has to be.The owners manual doesnt show it in the power distro box and thats where the diagram says it is.It doesnt show which one it is though.I let my wife drive it today,so i can eliminate all the short trips.

Bigdawg460 you still haven't filled out your signature file so that we know what you are driving.

Suggestion. Turn the blower switch on and one by one, start removing and reinstalling each relay until the fan stops.
