....Cost kind of high i thought at $2,300.00 but so far so good.
Try spending $3800 at the dealer to have your tranny replaced. Doesn't sit very well, at all. Still doesn't sit well with me since I should have gone aftermarket.

A shift kit and a stronger BTS or ATS torque converter seem to keep the stock ones together better, longer. You'll also spend half the money you would on an aftermarket.

Increasing the line pressure is actually supposed to help the tranny cope with the increase in power. Electronically increasing the pressure will do for the time being, but it's always better to get a shift kit and have whichever performance company adjust their program accordgingly. However, that may have been the cause of the seals. When I had my reman installed, they told me there was no break-in period, but I think otherwise. Then I towed a couple things and they had to rebuild it within a month and a half. Since the rebuild, it's held up and hasn't done anything strange.

Consider yourself lucky, mine blew and would have cost me $1200 had it not been under warranty. Everyday I kick myself and wish I had gone with a BTS instead of a Ford reman. A better warranty and a much better tranny, you really can't go wrong.
