Transmission Problem
The transmission in my 2002 explorer was recently replaced with a re-man. Since the work was done, it feels like the auto 4x4 kicks in when turning slowly. It is more noticeable when vehicle is hot. The ford dealer that did the trans replacement swears nothing is wrong. Also, I've noticed a decrease in gas mileage. This leads me to believe auto 4x4 is kicking in when not needed. What is the problem?

Might take it somewhere else and get it checked out .. then take the results back to the dealer.. if the results are bad.. when you turn the car slowly, if its in 4x4.. you would def be able to tell..
