Has anyone found a Spray Paint Color specifically for plastics that will match the Color of the Dark Grey Trim Piece on the Fords? Im just looking for a cleaner looking install.
Get some: Krylon Fusion in Graphite #2521, use as the base color. Then drift some Flat Black over it and it will be VERY close to the Ford trim color. Lynn

Thanks for the Idea Lynn...I might try that as a last resort...When it comes to anything like Drifting Flat Black over it all you are telling me is that I am going to paint this thing graphite and then when I am done drifting it will End up being a solid flat Black. My Painting skills are right up there with my Drywall Joint Compound sanding skills...

I have printed out some of the colors of the VHT Paints and see how they compare to the Ford Interior. I already have the SP-979 Ford Light Grey so I will end up just doing a small spot on the dash and see if I notice any difference between that spot and the colors page I printed out. If it matches I will post it. If thats the case you might want to try and match one of there colors to what you want then. Only thing is You will probably definitely have to prime the piece first being it such a light color.

Sorry to dig up a thread from the dead, but I too have recently purchased an EDGE and am trying to get it to match the dark gray piece on my '07 F-150 XLT.
I went shopping today for a can of the Fusion paint in graphite, but it seems that nobody carries it. Upon checking the website, it seems that here is no graphite colour.
Has anybody else managed to find a paint that matches?? (I remember reading a post a long time ago, somebody had a line of paint that was a near match to the factory. Unfortunally I can't seem to find the post anymore).
Find an automotive paint store in your area. If you can't find one, go to a neighborhood body shop and ask them who they use for paint.
They will have a color book of all the int/ext colors for all makes and models...there are a few silver/greys under Ford for our years..one of them matches and is the right one (I forget the color code).
Have them mix you up a half pint...this color shouldn't have any cautions, when I did it I didn't have an issue (sometimes when you mix such a small amount of toner the color doesn't come out right, but this color is fine).
Most shops sell this Preval aerosol thingy...it is an aerosol sprayer with a glass jar at the bottom. This allows you to make any color "sprayable".
Take your paint home, fill the Preval and go to town. I put like 7-8 coats on it...interior paint dries fast fast fast. Don't base prime it grey, leave it black. Grey shaded mine just a little to light, barely noticeable though. Spray it unprimed and you're set.
