There’s not that much to it, I did it a few months ago just order the kit from ford which includes the controller that plugs into the existing wiring that already there and change out the master cylinder that’s included with the kit , and finally you need to get the instrument cluster reprogrammed so the truck knows it installed
i don't know about the ford part #, but the BD Diesel Trans. Pressure-loc module probably is the same thing and it comes w/ the box so you don't have to have the truck re-programmed.
i could tell after i put mine in! it increased presure in the higher gears and the lock-up mode for the torque converter.
The cost was about $450 for the kit and $200 for ford to change out master cylinder and reprogram instrument cluster. a little pricey but well worth it having used it.its the best brake controller i have ever used

There is now a kit available to install TowCommand trailer braking system on trucks that were not originally equiped at the factory. If a TowCommand brake controller is dealer installed on an 05 truck, it may not work correctly unless a master cylinder with a brake pressure transducer is installed, and the instrument cluster reconfigured to recognize the TowCommand. Broadcast Message 4642, 4928.

yes it was close to $600.00 but seems to work great, now i want the upfitter switchs an was wondering if any one has added the high idle on a v 10 ? I love my truck , im so happy with my v-10 !
