Hello everyone I'm a new user, you all seem to be very nice and helpful after reading others. So i have a 1977 f100 with a 351 small block, mustang gt rear end possy traction new tires and rims. I'm young and really dont know much bout this stuff so if you could look at the pictures in my profile of the truck because i am wanting to sell it there has been 10k put into the truck and im getting ready to paint it red and put stock seat bench in it so if you guys could post me some advice and tell me what you think bout my truck and a suggestion on a selling price you would think i would really appreicate it thank you very much
Ford doesn't use the small block/big block description ...Thats a GM thing
Ford has Engine families
Your truck will have the 351M in it. The 351M is part of the 335 engine series family along with its older cousin the 351C and the precursor to the 351M , the 400
The 351M is a de-stroked 400.

*Posi-traction (not possy)
Posi-Traction is another GM term and doesn't apply to Fords.
Ford's terms are "Limited Slip" & "Traction Loc" .
Other makes have other terms.
Selling price:
I am sure you can understand that because I can't see it,feel it,inspect it, test drive it, it is "Virtually Impossible" to put a value on any vehicle.... over the net.
Post number 3 on this Read FIRST Thread will also explain about users asking for truck values.
thank you very much for that....i got all that info. from the guy that i bought it from..i do understand the fact you cant put a price on it i do believe it drives very well its also been lowered 2 inches...ive driven quite a few vehicles at different hights but thank for the reply
ive looked for trucks that kinda look like mine i foud one on ebay but that person wanted like 20k for it and it was a drag truck so i really dont know where to look for a price
There are just too many variables for anyone to put a price tag on it here. Like Dennis said, we can't even see it in person. I wouldn't use e-bay as a sounding board either. You never know whats on the up & up there. A lot of people are shill bidding & a lot of the stuff is misrepresented & doesn't sell anyways. Maby you could take it to a local used car lot and get a opinion from someone who sells vehicles in your area.
ya i was thinking about taking it to a used car lot but i just didnt know if they would even buy something like that or not but its a real nice truck but thatnk for your advice
well im 16 and i dont know if i can afford that gas the only thing i could probably afford is a car that gets like 20mpg or more but i guess imma see how i do when i get my liscene
oh some luxury van the dude i bought it off of put in there imma sell those he paid like 800 bucks for em i dont like them so im going to sell them but i got a seat from a junk yard and i need to find a place to rehuplser (spelling) it any suggestions
Not sure what to tell you about the reupholstery. Just find a local shop that does it, can't help you with price though, about a year ago my brother becaome good friends with a guy whose mother owned a place that did vehicle interior stuff. Redid all of his seats with red and black leather in his Integra for $200.
