Ford fault codes are either 2 or 3 digits. Since you've got way more plus letters, I'd have to say that they are unique to your scan tool & should be in its accompaning manual. It would appear no one recognizes it, hence no response.

96 uses OBD-II, so the codes are 4 digit.

My bad, I was going on FFI.com list. Thought that included OBD2 as well.

Yes it could be the DPFE sensor they can fail, but before you replace it, check the hose's that go to it, they are very common to split, melt, old and cracking, falling apart. If the hose's are bad replace them before replacing the sensor, otherwise your wasting your money.

What is the truck actually doing that prompted you to scan the codes?
the egr differential pressure still for the egr valve, means its out of position. There may be some carbon buildup on it. It can be cleaned too.

Go over the vacuum lines really close, around the egr too. Too lean is often a vacuum leak. If you have a propane torch, you can use it, (UNLIT) around the vacuum lines to check them. If the engine speeds you are close. Just be carefull.

The engine light came on and when i was driving it would run ok for bit, then just die out, barely run.It acted like it was out of fuel. The only way i could get it to run half decent was to spray throttle body cleaner in the air breather pipe,it would run fine for a short time but would do it again. Also, when i would put the peddle to the floor going up hill it would die out.Its working pretty good right now,but still some hesitation when i put it to the floor.
