front end noise!!

another problem I'm having...(2001 V6 4x4 xlt)I did one front wheel bearing,the other seems fine...but when I turn sharp,and the vehicle rolls to the side that the new bearing is on(weight is on that side)I still get a bit of a growling noise...not so much a clicking,which I know is more the noise of a cv joint,but a growl type noise...any ideas as to what it could be?Brent m.

I'm not sure about a growl. A clunk in a slow turn could easily be the stabilizer links. A common wear component that's inexpensive and easy to replace. Since the growl is on the side that just had the bearing replaced, I'd suspect the replacement bearing may have issues - too tight?

It could be the tires, rotate them and take the turn again.

thanks for the input...I tightened the bearings to factory spec's(can't remember what it was off hand)so that shouldn't be it...but i'll try the tire rotation idea!thanks again!
