I have a 66 f100 and i need a new yoke for the rearend but no one knows what kind of rear end it has. Its not a 8 or 9 inch. It has a rear 10 bolt cover with 3:73 posi. Does anyone know what it could be?
10 bolt rear cover could ba a GM or Dana rearend. Look up a diff. cover at any parts store. They will have the bolt pattern and shape for the aftermarket covers. Like Mr Gasket and so on. That way you could quickly identify it.
i bud i have the same rearend. its a dana spicer 44. hard to find any parts for it. check your bill of mat. after you get that number find a good rearend place and they should be able to match it. i just re did my whole rear end last month went thruogh the same stress.
