For some of you this may be an easy question. I'm waiting for truck to be auctioned and would like to know what engine it has. It is a 1967 F250 Camper Special, Custom Cab with automatic. The truck has been stored many years and looks to be all original.
We popped the hood and it looks like a 352 but I haven't seen many of these engines. I noticed that the spark plugs were angled towards the firewall except for rear-most plug. It was angled forward. Sort've like this \ \ \ / or possibly \ / \ / looking at the engine from the driver side.
FE 352's have plugs angled both to the front and rear. On the passenger side starting at the radiator the cylinders are numbered 1-4 and on the driver's side they are 5-8. Plug nos. 1,2,5,6 point to the back while plug nos. 3,4,7,8 all point to the front. If you go to my web page I have a lot of information on 1967 F-series trucks, including VIN codes and an engine ID section which has a scan of a 352.
I hope this helps.

Jeff,I've got a 69 F-250 Camper Special which has a 360 the plugs in it are angeled back front and back front.I've never seen a 352 though also the Vin # should tell you the motor that it at leaste came with, hope it helps. Mike
Well, I had the angles wrong in my message. Last night I checked the plugs again. The first two angled back with the last two angled forward. It looks like this \ \ / / . I will check the webpage. This page and all fo you with the technical knowledge are much appreciated. There seems to be so many older Fords still available here in the Seattle area. Much fewer Chevy trucks for some reason. Perhaps they sold more Ford, I know at least they did not suffer from rust like the Chevys.
Definitely an FE engine, however, there are no quick visual cues on the engine to tell you for sure whether it is a 332, 352, 360, 410, or 428. If original, most likely a 352 or 360. Need to find casting numbers to know for sure.
