Ebay Paint Quality?
I want to do a inexpensive paint job on my 77 Ford truck and I was wondering if anyone has tried the Rayflex paint they sell on eBay. I plan on going with a single stage paint and I was wondering how well this paint hold up? The paint kits they sell only cost ~$65. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

man for a single stage from the area of knowing what you're getting, I'd go with one of those discount paint jobs. These paint jobs look good at first, then go to crap in about three years or less. This is proabably about the same thing you'll get for 65 dollars worth of paint on ebay.

I'd advise against it. Last spring, I bought the Rayflex brand of metallic paint, primer and clear. Well, now my wife's car needs to be resanded and repainted due to a massive amount of cracking over most of the car. If I could go back, I'd use the same money towards a better quality product. Just beware, this is a good case of "You get what you pay for."
