Has any of you used the enamel paint that trinity inc. has to offer on ebay? I am wanting to paint my truck when I get finished with my bodywork and was wondering if it is any good? Their feedback seems good other than slow shipping. If anyone else has any good ideas on paint that isn't expensive let me know. By the way I am looking for a bright red. Their candy apple red on ebay looks good. Thanks guys for all your help.
i have used RAYFLEX by hawthorne they also make trinity. I have painted 6 cars and 8 tractors and 2 air compressors with it. I was skeptical at first but WOW it shines nice good tough paint. I used the silver metalic, grey primer, red, daytona blue , yellow, peral , british green , black and white. It worked out well , it also hides body work that is not perfect. Its not show quality but you would be hard pressed to not know it is not a top dollar paint like PPG. I sprayed it using a 22.00 sprayer from harborfreight. I use my sata gun when i spray PPG . But this paint is great. I get mine from PAINTFORCARS on ebay.
If you coat this stuff with a clear will it have a similar shine to a 2 stage paint job?
