THAT's no help but unfortunately true. IF it hadn't run so well I probably wouldn't be so crazy now. I still think it is something simple, just don't know what. 11.9 mpg on the highway and about 9 around town. I was quite pleased. Thing ran great then won't start. Spark is weak from new coil....what feeds the coil?

Does that year have a TFI module on the distributor, mine went out the same way. I parked it one night in the driveway running like a champ. The next morning no start. I replaced half the ignition system before replacing it. Should have replaced it first. It would have saved me a lot of trouble.

Try replacing TFI module first,if no help try distributer ,i had this same trouble on 2 460s one carbureted(was dist.) the other was EFI (was TFI module)
