Modified gas pedal

Has anyone ever modified there gas pedal to move it further back towards the fire wall? I'm thinking this would be a great way to get more leg room. Maybe mine was modified and pulled forward in the past.

Anyone else thinking about this.

These are bolted to the firewall and would be difficult to move. The pedal height can be adjusted by moving the cable jacket in the retainer on the engine. I like to use LoKar cables because they allow me to set all this exactly where I want it.

Thanks William I will try to adjust that and see if it improves the position.

One more thing, go over to the pull-a-part on moreland road and grab the linkage off one of those trucks and try bending/adjusting it to your liking. I do that all the time if I am not sure how something will turn out. That way I can still drive my truck everyday!
