My 9 month project is coming to a close. Lowering-done. P/S-done. P/B-done. 302 in-done. New brakes-done. P/S column-found.
Now that the truck is ready for the paint shop, I have small dent on the lower part of the tailgate, on the "ridge". I was wondering if a body shop could pull it out and bondo over it, or if I have to look for a straight tailgate.
Was also wondering about adding 3rd brake light instead of the handle, and relocate the handle inside the tailgate.

hey, i was needing advise on swapping manual for power. I have a 65 and believe the steering, brakes are the same. What did ya have to do for the brake and steering swap. and you mentioned finding a correct steering column, what was it and did ya have any wiring problems. as for your tailgate project, my dad has a body shop and you can fix the dent and put the brake light in the gate with no problem. please give me a hand on the power swap.
Mark after you install the donor setup, install new rotors, wheel and master cylinders. Then you have new parts, that can be replaced from any parts house.
