tailgate rattle

tailgate rattle
I have recently developed a noticeable rattle from my tailgate and was wondering what others have done to fix. New strikers, new bushings on the lower pivot? Just adjust the striker and jaws?

No rattle from my tailgate, just squeaking coming from the bushings. Can lube it to make it go away for a short while, but haven't found a suitably longer lasting lube. Very annoying. Mainly chiming in to subscribe.
Could it also be something inside the tailagte, like the latch linkage? just a thought.

I think I figured it out, the strike is supposed to have a plastic/nylon sleeve. And both of mine are missing. I'm not sure where or when they fell off but I do remember them being there. I have ordered replacements and will repost the results
