My 2005 the first few seconds sputters and misses during the initial warm up. Other than that it runs beautifully. It is not cold around here in s.w. wa. Should I have it looked at or is this not important? Do you have this with your v-10?
I have the same thing happening with my 99. My Pops told me that I sometime the electronic fuel pump needs to like "start flowing" for a few seconds before starting. I haven't had a chance to test the theory out that much, but try turning the key so the dummy lights come on and wait for 3 to 4 seconds, then try starting it. Maybe that will help.

My 06 is doing the same thing. I've found that if I turn the key on, press
the accelerator pedal a couple of times, then start the truck, it rarely does it.
I'm thinking maybe the throttle position sensor is wacked... gotta get it over
to the stealer one of these days.
I really appreciate your responses!!. I'll try this out. It does make sense. I have 16000 miles on her now and I have never looked back!. What a great truck!!
so does mine takes about a min to level out. i think it has a lot to do with out side air temps keeping the engine temp just above the level that cuts out the cold start fuel enrichment . winter time mine is fine so i'm not even concerned .
same here 21 .5 k never looking back thanks to freds advise .
Hey, I tried leaving the key on for a bit before starting it and it idled without missing ! Still need a few more cold start-ups to make sure. Sure do appreciate the info.
