Stupid weather!!!
What a way to start off the 4th. Woke up this morning, after some overnight storms, to a fairly large tree branch on the ground in my back yard. Turns out that my fiberglass truck topper broke it's fall. Busted it up pretty good. Same limb yanked the TV cable off the hose and severely stretched the phone line. Had that line pulled right down to the ground, but I never lost service. Great way to start the holiday.
I fumed about it for a while, then the wife and I decided to take in a cruise-in car show, then went out for a nice dinner. The day ended up better than it started....and I guess that's whats it's all about. Tomorrow I will deal with reality...lol

yeah,stormed here some this morning (the 4th)also,not near that much damage,but I won't complain,we needed the rain,and still need more!! then it turned into a very nice day,not to hot. I bbqued supper after I woke up(3rd shift worker),drank some beer,then went to the local 4th of july celebration,drank more beer and celebrated independance day!!

i had nice and cool 4th july after 4 lol before that i was sweatin so bad tryin to give all the trees and shrubs enough water, so ive been wantin a good hard rain...im tired of makin 5 trips to each shrub lol all just to get less then half a sprinkle in this hot sun lol...but other then that i had an awesome 4th july

we had intermittent showers but nothing like the flooding downpours like last week. we still have a few families in the high school and still have to boil water but at least the levels are better. still no boaters on the lake due to debris.
