Marker lights acting funny

Marker lights acting funny
I noticed today that when I apply the brakes on my 92 shorty the marker lights on the front light up. I figure that there must be a bad bulb somewhere?? Anybody have this happen?

It's more likely a bad ground on the wiring for the lighting. The current going through the brake lights will try to find any path it can if the normal ground connections are compromised. The filaments in the marker lights work adequately, and will light up in the process.
