marker lights

07 150 econoline marker lights do not turn off.any ideas what to check.right now i am disconnecting the battery cables to turn off the lights,

Sounds like a faulty main light switch---can't think of any other switch for those lamps.

disconnected the headlight switch and the running lights are still on

Sorry for my ignorance of the '07's----does that chassis come with the Daytime Running Light module? If so that might be the root of your issue.

no it does not have day time running lights.
