OK Where is it.......

1997 F-150 4X4 with 4.6 "W" engine. Auto w/ Air
Where is the Blower motor resistor.
Under the dash or under the hood.
If it's under the hood, is it behind the battery somewhere?

Inquiring mind wants to know.
I've heard both locations described on forums....

Thanks

Blower motor resistor location - 1997

Geez....

The A/C blower motor resistor is installed in the A/C evaporator case next to the blower motor. It is kept in the plenum airstream to provide cooling for the heat disippated by the resistive elements.

On the 97, it is located directly behind the glovebox next to the blower motor. You just about have to stand on your head to see it or its mounting screws.
