Classicautoair.com has got what looks like a real nice a/c system for our trucks. It replaces the whole heater system. I have'nt put together the funds yet for mine but that's the direction i'm going unless someone has had a bad experience with them. Their kit runs about $1100.00.

Ac

my72ford,I used oldairproductsdotcom and like their product.Look for the 6772 under dash unit,it does not replace your heating system and is a stand alone ac system so if one or the other quits the other will still work.

I too am considering the classic auto air system - it seems from the ads a little nicer than the vintage system. Does anyone here have one?

I've installed a couple of the 67-72 Ford truck systems from oldairproducts. They work really well and look very much like the OEM add on AC for these trucks.

It's doubtful that you will find an AC system for less than $1000. They all seem to be about $11-1200.

The original AC for your truck was a dealer add on that went under the dash on the right side. It was separate from the heater. I'm pretty sure that your options today are going to be the same. These days, it's about $1200 for the whole system.

Just went over there and looked for myself. Nice looking unit and not a bad price either.

Just my 2 cents worth.
