Idiot friend needs a refrence point
I told him how crappy the backseat is and he told me how the Silverado "is the best selling truck EVER, and has the most front and rear room in its class". I told him he was wrong and it was the F150 that has the tittle of most interior space and was the best selling for what, like 25 years? He kept saying he knew I was wrong, and it just must be me thats complaining. He is one of thoes people who thinks whatever he has is perfect, and unless he has it or likes it it isnt worth a crap.
He is always bragging about how great his stock, base level truck is that he leasing for $390 a month and what a great deal it is(HA!) Its 4.3L, V6, and has NO options except it is a automatic. Not even a CD player, just a AM/FM radio. He keeps bragging how much bigger and stronger it is then my Ranger. My Ranger is fully loaded, FX4, CD/Cass. combo, power everything, 4X4 with the 4.0L V6 and it is about the same highth as his, same bed size, and about the same engine except MY TRUCK IS A COMPACT AND HIS IS CONSIDERED A FULL SIZE! Im sure he gets worse gas millage too being his truck weighs more and having the same engine as mine.
Ive rode in the back of the F150, and a Dodge Ram Mega Cab and not felt as cramped and sick to my stomach during rides as I did with his Chevy.
So, please, post some facts about both the F150 and his Chevy to tell him what I allready know~the F150 is the better truck.
I will show him the link, Thanks!
Edit: I'll have to add this since the comparison between the Scew and Xcab chevy has been edited out of a previous post. same class comparisons are more fair and IMO show that they are fairly close in size.

Don't let a Chevy guy get under your skin! If he doesn't no nothing about truck facts and options don't let his ignorance get the best of you. Next time you go fishing take your truck and stick him in the back and go to that fishing spot that is the furthest away, haha.
PS. GMC stands for "edit Mans Choice", lol!

I know people who think its better because they have it. I am about to hire a guy like that. I have enough faith in the guy just to ignore him.
We have a bunch of base model silverado's at work, 5.3 auto 4x4, no tint, no power locks, no power locks, no cd, no onstar manual 4x4. They are work trucks and do well for what we use them for. We typically get 100k on them before we trade them. Fuel pumps and front end pieces typically get the most work. Had one batch with bad A/C's.
